Two people killed in Taft Hwy crash, driver arrested for DUI

CHP said two people were killed in a drunk driving crash on Taft Highway Thursday night.

Two dead after alcohol-related crash south of Bakersfield

Vincent Moroyoqui, 34, collided head-on with another car on Taft Highway near Buena Vista Road. CHP officials say Raeleen Sorensen, 51, and her passenger, Raegen Sorensen, 19, died in the crash.

The news station says he was arrested for DUI three times in the past 15 years. He spent some time in jail after pleading no contest to lesser charges.
