DUI suspected in Redding head-on crash
Officers said Saechao appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, and the initial investigation shows she made no attempt to brake before crashing head-on.

22-year-old Famhang Saechao was allegedly driving while intoxicated when her black BMW collided head-on with a Honda Accord driven by 34-year old Rusty Conlin at about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday on Court Street near Schley Avenue in Redding, California. Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken to Mercy Medical Center. According to the Redding Police, Saechao seemed to be drunk and made no attempt to brake or slow down before crashing with Conlin's vehicle.
Saechao was arrested and Shasta County District Attorney's office will decide if official DUI charges will be filed against her.
