According to Sgt. Greg Ross with the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist was heading downhill and the motorcyclist was headed uphill on Shasta Dam Blvd, when the crash happened.
UPDATE: Bicycle rider ID'd in fatal crash with motorcycle
The Shasta County Coroner's Office on Wednesday evening identified the bicyclist as 32-year-old Cristobal Heitmann Montero of Redding.
