Corey Coumbes, a U.S. Marine, died at the scene of the 3 a.m. crash Saturday, April 12, at Lear Avenue and Two Mile Road. He was a native of the Catskill-area hamlet of Craryville, N.Y.
Coumbes was a passenger in a 2014 Kia, driven by Cpl. Juan Navarro, that collided with another vehicle. Deputy sheriffs are investigating the accident.
