2 pedestrians hurt in Baldwin Park collision

Hofford said drugs and alcohol weren’t factors in the crash.

“The cause is under investigation,” he said.

At about 5:50pm, two men in their early 50's were struck by a car on Walnut Street and sustained head-injuries. The men weren't in a crosswalk at the time of the crash, and the 67-year-old woman who struck them did not leave the scene, so she was not cited. There is little information on the severity of the victims' injuries, but it is at least confirmed that both are in stable condition. Check back later for more details on this accident.
