Police say a driver has been arrested on suspicion of DUI after a single-vehicle crash left two women dead and four others hurt in Beverly Hills.

The driver, 30-year-old Taisha Welch of Los Angeles, was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, Albanese said.

Jenetta Williams, 30, of Palmdale, and Denesha Stewart, 24, of Lakewood died at a hospital, the coroner’s office reported.

Welch is also facing one felony count each of DUI of an alcoholic beverage resulting in injury and driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol content causing injury, authorities said in a release.
