Teen Killed Retrieving Skateboard From Road in OC
A teenager was killed after being hit by a car while retrieving his skateboard from a road in Orange County Monday.
At about 6:20pm, Valerio and a few friends were all skateboarding on the sidewalk of Trabucco Road, but when one of the skateboards accidentally rolled free into the roadway, Valerio tried to retrieve it and was hit and critically injured by an SUV. Valerio was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to a hospital. The driver stayed at the scene of the crash.
