UPDATE | A man struck by a vehicle in North Long Beach Monday morning has died from his injuries, authorities said Tuesday. The victim, identified only as a 78-year-old Long Beach resident pending notification of kin, was struck at about 6:00AM Monday by a 2008 Chevy Equinox when he was crossing eastbound on Long Beach Boulevard mid-block, between Market and Plymouth streets, according to a release from the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).
