Wrong-way crash kills two on 110 Freeway in downtown L.A.
A SigAlert was issued about 1:30 a.m., with all but the far left of the southbound lanes closed for hours as crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened shortly after 5:30 a.m., according to the CHP

There were no obvious signs that the suspect had been drinking, such as bottles or cans in his vehicle.

At 1:19am, authorities received a report of a sedan driving north in the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway who was allegedly weaving through oncoming traffic to evade deputies. Later, theye received a report of a collision involving the same car. The sedan, allegedly traveling at around 100 mph, slammed into the pick up truck, killing both of the drivers.
