Wrong-way crash kills two on 110 Freeway in downtown L.A.

A SigAlert was issued about 1:30 a.m., with all but the far left of the southbound lanes closed for hours as crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes were reopened shortly after 5:30 a.m., according to the CHP

There were no obvious signs that the suspect had been drinking, such as bottles or cans in his vehicle.
At 1:19am, authorities received a report of a sedan driving north in the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway who was allegedly weaving through oncoming traffic to evade deputies. Later, theye received a report of a collision involving the same car. The sedan, allegedly traveling at around 100 mph, slammed into the pick up truck, killing both of the drivers. No one else was in either vehicle. Check back for more details on this accident.
