A 23-year-old budding filmmaker was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Pacific Palisades.

An apparent hit-and-run victim in his 20s was found critically injured Friday morning in Pacific Palisades, police said.

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that left a young man fighting for his life in Pacific Palisades Friday.

A $100,000 reward has been offered for information that could lead to the arrest of the person involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a 23-year-old UCLA film school graduate dead in the Pacific Palisades in December.


David Pregerson died after being hit by a hit-and-run motorist in Pacific Palisades.

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that left a young man fighting for his life in Pacific Palisades Friday.

David Pregerson, 23, was found in bushes on the side of the road on the 600 block of Chautauqua Boulevard around 3:20 a.m.

Police say the victim was walking home when he was hit by a car, and thrown into the bushes. The driver fled the scene.

Investigators say Pregerson was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Friends say the victim is a budding filmmaker and recent UCLA graduate.

Police do not have a description of the hit-and-run vehicle , but they say it has front end damage.

The victim's friends have been canvassing the area where Pregerson was hit, looking for answers.

A 7-year-old boy died in South Los Angeles Wednesday evening after being hit by an ice cream truck while riding a motorized bike. The accident occured around 7:00 p.m. on October 22, when the child was riding next to the truck and the truck collided with him. Residents in the area attacked the driver at the scene. The boy was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he died. The driver only received bruises. The driver will not be charged, but police are searching for his attackers.

Tami Erin, who played the plucky tween in the 1988 film 'The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking' was allegedly 'totally out of control … just out of it' after she drunkenly hit three vehicles and sped off from the scene of the crime.

Actress Tami Erin was arrested after she allegedly hit three vehicles while driving drunk.

Erin was arrested after she hit three cars while driving in Los Angeles, reported TMZ.com.

Officers said that one person was taken to hospital following the incident.

Erin, 39, was given a sobriety test and arrested.

A pedestrian was found dead in South LA early Wednesday morning as a result of a hit-and-run crash, according to Los Angeles police.

The initial report involved a possible gun shot wound victim on the ground near 120th Street and Figueroa Street around 12:40 a.m., but when police arrived they discovered the man was a hit-and-run crash victim.

It appears the victim was standing or walking in the middle of the street at the time of the crash, police said.

The pedestrian died at the scene. He was described as a male, 30 to 40 years old.

Two male pedestrians were struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in the Manchester Square area of South Los Angeles around 1:45 a.m. A single of the victims, aged 45-55, was hospitalized in critical condition. The other victim, aged 40-50, was treated at the scene for complaint of discomfort. Names awaiting release.

Travis Marton, 23, was killed after being struck by a car on Pacific Coast Highway near Newport Coast Road in Newport Beach at around 3 a.m ib New Year's Day. Thursday. A man has been booked on suspicion of felony hit-and-run. Marton's father said he had been in Newport visiting friends, but did not know why he had been walking on the highway. Within minutes of the initial call reporting the incident, Laguna Beach Police Department had located a cab with front end damage.

Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a man on a bicycle in downtown Los Angeles Sunday.

The incident occurred on Alameda Street near the westbound 10 Freeway off-ramp around 2 a.m.

CHP responded to a pedestrian down call and found a body in the No. 2 lane of the off-ramp with no vehicle in sight.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as a man in his early 30's.

No description of the fleeing vehicle was released.
