A 23-year-old budding filmmaker was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Pacific Palisades.

An apparent hit-and-run victim in his 20s was found critically injured Friday morning in Pacific Palisades, police said.

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that left a young man fighting for his life in Pacific Palisades Friday.

A $100,000 reward has been offered for information that could lead to the arrest of the person involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a 23-year-old UCLA film school graduate dead in the Pacific Palisades in December.


David Pregerson died after being hit by a hit-and-run motorist in Pacific Palisades.

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that left a young man fighting for his life in Pacific Palisades Friday.

David Pregerson, 23, was found in bushes on the side of the road on the 600 block of Chautauqua Boulevard around 3:20 a.m.

Police say the victim was walking home when he was hit by a car, and thrown into the bushes. The driver fled the scene.

Investigators say Pregerson was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

Friends say the victim is a budding filmmaker and recent UCLA graduate.

Police do not have a description of the hit-and-run vehicle , but they say it has front end damage.

The victim's friends have been canvassing the area where Pregerson was hit, looking for answers.

We now know the name of the man killed in a motorcycle accident in Breathitt County tonight.

The Breathitt County coroner tells us 50 year old James Lockhart died when he hit a guardrail.
It happened four miles south of Jackson on Highway 15 a little after 5:30 pm. We do not know if he was wearing a helmet.

A 51-year-old man was killed in a crash Sunday on Old Lebanon Road.

According to police, David Hawkins was killed in the crash. He was attempting to turn when his truck skidded off the road through a resident's yard before striking a tree.

Hawkins was not wearing a seat belt, according to the police report. Police said the seat belt could have made a difference.

Patricia Banks, 61, was driving a Toyota Corolla on Westwood Northern Boulevard when she attempted to turn onto McHenry Avenue. Banks did not yield to oncoming traffic and collided with a Buick LeSabre being driven by Peggy Hawkins, 58. Hawkins was transported to UC Medical Center, where she died of her injuries. Banks was taken to Christ Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The passenger in Hawkins’ car, Johnny Hardy, 61, was transported to University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A Henderson County Woman is killed after a car hits the driver's door of her car Saturday afternoon.

The accident took place on Hwy-60 near Walmart.

According to Kentucky State Police, William Patterson crossed multiple lanes for traffic and struck hitting the car driven by Sharon Gaines.

The cars went about 30 feet before hitting a lamp pole at final rest.

Gaines was pronounced dead at the scene.

Patterson was charged with driving under the influence, aggravated offense, and driving on a suspended license.
