Two people were killed and a deputy was hurt after a Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department patrol car collided with another car, officials said.
The collision happened about 4:30 p.m. near 17th Street East and Avenue R in Palmdale, according to a watch commander at the LASD Palmdale Station.
One deputy was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not known.
Two others died at the scene, officials said.
Additional details about the crash were not immediately clear.
