Hot tar stops traffic, cars squeeze around it on shoulder

Hot tar oozed out of an overturned truck after it collided with a sedan early Friday, blocking the westbound lanes of State Route 71 in Pomona. California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi says he doesn't know how much hot tar was released from the open-top truck. One person was taken to a hospital but it wasn't immediately known if it was the truck driver or the sedan driver.
