A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she crashed into a South Los Angeles home Sunday, leaving a 7-year-old girl dead and three children critically hurt, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

Officials confirmed the four children were inside the car at the time of the crash, but witnesses rushed to pull them out of the vehicle and performed first aid until paramedics could arrive. Police said the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
