2 Killed, 1 Injured in Fiery Street-Racing Crash in Anaheim: Police
A preliminary investigation revealed that the burned vehicle was involved in a street race with another vehicle. Both vehicles were heading west on Ball Road at high speeds when the victim vehicle lost control, jumped the north curb, sheared a light pole, struck several vehicles and caught fire before crashing into the apartment building, police said.

Officials did not name the victims but identified the driver as a 19-year-old resident of Stanton, the rear passenger as a 19-year-old resident of Fullerton, and the surviving front passenger as a 24-year-old resident of Anaheim, according to a news release from the Anaheim Police Department.
