Woman Killed, Man Injured After Struck By Vehicle in Buena Park

A woman was killed and a man was injured early Saturday morning after both were struck by a car in Buena Park, police said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Buena Park Police Department. His condition was unknown, according to the Buena Park Police Department. The incident was reported around 1:30 a.m. near a Holiday Inn in the 7000 block of Beach Boulevard. Firefighters arrived and found the female victim pinned underneath the vehicle.

When firefighters arrived, they found a woman pinned underneath the van. The woman, identified as Jessica Lynn Brown Carvajal, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

I am the sister of Jessica Brown-Carvajal who is the deceased victim in this accident. My family and I are devasted and still in shock.
