Pedestrian struck by car in Costa Mesa crash

The car went off the roadway near Ford Road and drove up on the sidewalk, where it struck two light poles, an electrical box, a bench and a tree, before hitting a man from Costa Mesa walking on the sidewalk, Miles said.
