The southbound 57 freeway transition to the westbound 22 freeway and the City Drive on-ramp to the westbound 22 remained closed as of 4:45 a.m.

Phan died on the interchange connecting the southbound 57 in Orange to the westbound 22 after a 2014 BMW driven by Rebecca Munoz, 22, of Santa Ana, slammed into the back of the 2002 Jeep Liberty, which was driven by Neil Raboy, 36, of Huntington Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person is dead and another suffered serious injury after a suspected DUI accident early Saturday morning in Orange, California.
