Several lanes closed on 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley after multi-car crash leaves 3 dead

The crash occurred on the eastbound 60 Freeway near Pedley Road shortly after 3:30 a.m. and involved four vehicles and a semi-truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials said a man in his 20s was either ejected or struck and his body wound up on the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway, where he was run over by multiple cars. A second man, also in his 20s, was also struck after possibly being ejected from his vehicle as well. His body and the body of a woman in her 20s were found on the eastbound lanes.   

2 Hemet residents among 3 dead in 60 Freeway crash in Jurupa Valley that sent 1 over center divider

On Saturday night, the Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau identified two of the three victims as Jose Perez, 27, and Omar Arambula, 24, both of Hemet. The third victim’s name, age and hometown have not been released
