HEMET: 3 killed, 3 hurt in head-on crash; alcohol possibly a factor (UPDATE)
A black GMC SUV and a silver Ford sedan crashed about 1:35 a.m. on Highway 74, also called Florida Avenue, just west of North Lake Street, Hemet police Lt. Eric Dickson wrote in a news release.
Three people in the Ford were killed, the release said. Their names were not released pending notification of their families.

Marcos Zaferino-Nabor, 25, and Isaias Guerrero Jr., 26, both of Anza, were identified Sunday afternoon as two of the deceased. The third person's name has not yet been released by the Riverside County Coroner's Office.

Three other people - one from the sedan and two in the SUV - were hospitalized and are expected to survive.
