Oliverasbecerra was not injured in the crash, which remained under investigation Friday.

Jose Zavala, 59, of Thermal, died at JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio about an hour after the 9:30 p.m. collision at the intersection of Harrison Street and Avenue 66, which remains under investigation.
