Leah Witsachek, 34, and small child, 6, killed in crash in El Dorado County, California

Witaschek was driving on State Route 193 when, for a currently unknown reason, her car left the roadway. Witaschek lost control and traveled into the eastbound traffic lane where she collided with an oncoming pickup truck. Witsachek and the young passenger were killed; the driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries.
