3 Survive Solano County Plane Crash

The crash happened around 11 a.m. and the Rio Vista Municipal Airport was closed until further notice. Everyone on aboard the single-engine Cessna 182 was able to walk away, but the plane sustained heavy damage, Rio Vista Public Works Department director David Melilli said. Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Lynn Lunsford said the plane went down under unknown circumstances and ended up in a canal.
