Freeway crash near Elk Grove claims three lives.

The Sacramento County Coroner has released the names of three men killed in a solo car accident on southbound Highway 99 early Saturday morning, including a victim from Elk Grove. Robert Anderson, 23, of Elk Grove and Michael Anderson, 23, of Atwater died following a car crash on south of Calvine Road. According to the Merced Sun-Star, the driver of the car, Sean Leonguerrero, 24, of Merced also died when the vehicle traveled off the freeway and struck both a chain-link fence and metal pole. According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to apparent intoxication and unsafe speed.
