Officer Kirk Griess and Jaime Bueza Manuel killed when struck by hit-and-run vehicle during traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Fairfield, California

CHP says Griess had pulled over an SUV on the right shoulder of Interstate 80. A pickup truck on the highway hit Griess and the SUV before fleeing.

Sean Matthew Walker, 36, was arrested for his involvement in Friday’s crash that killed Officer Kirk Griess[1] and Jaime Bueza Manuel.   

Family, fellow officers and the community paid tribute to CHP Officer Kirk Griess, who was killed by an alleged distracted driver last week.
