Wallace began to slow down and signaled to turn right. Pierce, for an unknown reason, hit the right rear portion of Wallace's bike, according to the preliminary collision report.
Duane's condition has been listed as fair since Thursday afternoon. Fortunately, all three people involved in the crash were wearing helmets; two were virtually unscathed while Duane escaped with only moderate injuries.
