It is unclear what caused the accident, but it is not said to be a public health concern. Cal/OSHA has been notified, Lincoln Fire says. Plant operations were disrupted for a time but have since returned to normal.

A worker at a Lincoln-area plant was burned Wednesday morning at the Colledgewood facility on Aviation Boulevard. The worker was on a forklift at the time of the incident. He was transported by air to the UC Davis Medical Center. He is said to be suffering from second to third degree burns to 10% of his body.
