Vacaville Man Hit, Killed By Minivan

Thornhill describes her nephew as an artist. “This whole yard, everything here is a replica of Ryan,” Thornhill said. “Everything you see here is his creation.”
Ryan Matthey, 29, from Vacaville, died in a pedestrian collision with a minivan late Saturday night. Authorities report that Matthey wasn’t in a crosswalk. The driver stopped after the collision and is not under arrest. Vacaville Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them. They say drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash. How can a lawyer help with an auto accident claim? First, having a lawyer on your side levels the playing field. The person who caused the accident is required to immediately turn the case over to his or her insurance company. The insurance company uses adjusters and lawyers who are specifically trained to deny or reduce your claim. This may include denying compensation to family members who are entitled to receive benefits for loss of companionship. Learn more here about what a lawyer does in auto accident cases.
