Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Vallejo, taken to trauma center

VALLEJO -- A pedestrian was taken to a hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Vallejo Monday evening, according to firefighters. The victim was taken to a trauma center in Fairfield, according to firefighters, and police are investigating the incident. Firefighters apparently found the victim while returning from another call. Monday in the 2500 block of Springs Road. Further details were not immediately available.
