According to California Highway Patrol officials, Faafiu Faafiu, Jr., 43, of Oahu, Hawaii, was driving a blue Land Rover Discovery on the on-ramp to eastbound I-780 from Glen Cove Road at an unknown speed at 9:13 p.m., when he drove off the roadway.
