“We’re all hurting. I know there’s nothing any of us can say or do, but we all have to get through this together,” said Stephanie Chataline, the school’s wrestling coach.
Police identified Nathan Dominguez, 18, Andrew Anthony Deleon, 19 and Luis Ayala Mendoza, 47 of five killed in three-car flaming pileup on Pine Avenue in Chino, CA. Officials did not release the identities of the two other victims, but friends identified them as teens Alex Horta and Nathaniel Marin. Four of the deceased were in a Chevrolet pickup truck, and one more was the single passenger in a Honda Accord. The driver of a third vehicle sustained minor injuries, but was not hospitalized. Due to the severity of the injuries and burns sustained from the fire that started as a result of the crash, it has been difficult for investigators to indentify the other three victims.
