Man in his 50's struck and killed while trying to cross a street outside a crosswalk by a hit-and-run tractor-trailer in Fontana, California

An investigation is underway into a deadly hit-and-run crash early Wednesday morning in Fontana. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at San Bernardino Avenue and Commerce Drive. Witnesses say a man was crossing the street, not in a crosswalk, when a semi-truck hit him and took off. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
