12 injured when pickup collides with charter bus near Phelan

Jeremy Kern says 25 bus passengers were transported to a nearby school to wait for another charter bus to the Antelope Valley. The Inland Valley Daily Bulletin reports (http://bit.ly/1QuOnL4 ) six were non-critical patients and six others had minor injuries following the collision Wednesday night near Phelan. Westbound lanes of State Route 138 were briefly blocked following the crash. It wasn't immediately clear which vehicles the injured people were in. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
