PILOT KILLED IN SMALL PLANE CRASH IN SAN ANTONIO HEIGHTS AREA; WRECKAGE RECOVERY UNDERWAY

The Piper PA-28, which departed from Cable Airport in Upland and was en route to Riverside, was reported missing at around 5 a.m., said Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration.

Pilot killed in Mount Baldy-area crash is identified

The pilot killed when the plane he was flying crashed near Mount Baldy on Tuesday, Nov. 22, has been identified as Stephen Lassetter, 66, of Upland.
