Injury crash on California freeway sparks brushfire

It happened Saturday afternoon in the Cajon Pass on Interstate 15 northeast of Los Angeles. A CHP officer tried to help the rider but an oxygen tank she was using exploded. SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) A crash on the main route between Southern California and Las Vegas has injured two people including a CHP officer and sparked a 10-acre brushfire but no homes are threatened. The CHP tells the Riverside Press-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/1DhXFYk ) the biker was thrown and has major injuries. Della Miller tells KABC-TV she was on a charter bus heading to Las Vegas when a motorcycle cut in front and crashed.
