Driver dies after veering offroad and rolling down an embankment on 395 Highway near Trona, California

At approximately 2:15 p.m. Engine 75 Rescue responded along with the CHP for a vehicle roll over on the 395 Highway approximately three miles from the Trona 29 mile exit. The SUV was traveling southbound and veered off the highway resulting in the vehicle rolling over and landing on an embankment. The driver died as a result of his injuries.
