Woman struck, killed by cars ID'd

The cause of death was ruled accidental by the Medical Examiner's Office, due to multiple blunt force injuries.
Denise Marilyn Krausch, 61, was struck by several vehicles and killed while walking on Interstate 5 in Chula Vista on Monday night. Krausch walking on the shoulder of the freeway around 10:40 p.m., when she was struck by four vehicles in the slow lane of northbound I-5 at the J Street exit. All of the drivers stopped after the accident. It is not known yet why Krausch was walking on the freeway.
