Point Loma wreck leaves motorcyclist dead

A 47-year-old man on a motorcycle who struck a curb in the Roseville-Fleetridge area in Point Loma Wednesday night and was thrown into a sign pole later died in a hospital.

Chad Michael Vosskuhler of San Diego struck a curb at Locust Street and Nimitz Boulevard and was thrown into a sign pole around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.

A 47-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his vehicle hit a curb on Locust Street at Nimitz Boulevard in Point Loma, and he was thown into a sign post. The accident occurred at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. The man was transported to UCSD Medical Center with major chest and abdominal trauma, where he died. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
