Driver Dead in Crash at U.S.-Mexico Border in San Ysidro
The driver, a 27-year-old man from Santa Ana, tried to cross the San Ysidro Port of Entry through a closed lane from Tijuana at about 2:15 p.m., CHP said. His silver sedan struck a metal barrier on the U.S. side.
