14-YEAR-OLD GIRL SUFFERS MAJOR INJURIES IN ANTIOCH CRASH

A 14-year-old girl suffered major injuries when a car struck her in Antioch on Tuesday night, police said.

A 14-year-old girl was walking near the intersection of Gentrytown and Johnson drives around 9 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Antioch man. She suffered major injuries and was taken to USCF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
