Concord Man Allegedly Crossing Street Against Red Light Hit By Pickup Truck

CONCORD (CBS SF) '€” A Concord man is in serious but stable condition after he was struck by a pickup truck towing a utility trailer Monday morning in Concord, police said. Police said the driver, a 56-year-old Concord man, was driving a 1997 Dodge pickup truck towing a utility trailer when the pedestrian ran across the road against the red '€œDon'€™t Walk'€ sign and the truck struck him. The pedestrian, a 24-year-old man, was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek and was in stable condition this afternoon, according to police.
