19-year-old man injured, and Athina Marlene Cook, 31, arrested after wrong-way collision on Lakeport Boulevard in Lakeport, California

A Kelseyville woman was arrested Friday night on suspicion of drunken driving following a head-on collision in Lakeport that sent one man to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. Cook, who was not injured, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing injury, reckless driving and driving while on probation. Police said Cook was convicted of DUI in 2012 in Lake County after she nearly struck a police officer and several bystanders. She is at the Lake County Jail on a no-bail hold. But her passenger, a 19-year-old Lakeport man, possibly suffered broken bones and was taken to a hospital.
