Taufa Toutai Pupunu, 27, Gaudi Salgado Barrios, 26, killed, after their car, traveling at high speed, leaves the roadway on Highway 101 in Menlo Park, and crashes into a tree.

The two people killed early Saturday morning in a crash off of U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park have been identified by the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office as Taufa Toutai Pupunu, 27, of Redwood City and Gaudi Salgado Barrios, 26, of East Palo Alto.

The crash was reported at 1:52 a.m. Saturday on southbound Highway 101 near the Willow Road off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials said Barrios was speeding when she lost control of the car, which struck a tree, launched into the air and struck another tree.

Barrios and her passenger Pupunu were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol and speed are believed to have played a role in the crash, according to the CHP.

Fuck man I still don't want to believe this bullshit ! My lady & homeboy which considered my brother gone forever and so many plans we all had and never got to accomplish. I been told and already thought I'm going to make everything my babymama ever wish come and happend but this pain ain't letting me do shit! Lifes a bitch and then you die , don't take anything and especially anyone for granted. I love her with all my heart even she not here and wish I could take back so many fucked things I said.. people may think I never even care for her. But for those who really knew her , who else would have stuck to her side through anything like I did. Ima do my best for our daughter and her other babies. & ima miss you carnal y'all always be both in my mind and heart help me help my lil one and watch over at all times .
