Man with walker struck, injured by hit-run street racers in Mountain View

His condition was unknown Wednesday morning. His name was not released. The street has no sidewalk. San Diego police are investigating.
A man using a walker was hit by a car likely street racing in Mountain View, California Tuesday night. The victim, a 55-year-old man, was struck while crossing Imperial Avenue around 9:45 p.m. One car, a white Nissan Altima, hit the man and did not stop. The other dark-colored car also sped on. The man was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center after an MTS bus called 911. Police say there were no crosswalks nearby. The man's condition and identity have not yet been released.
