One person killed, one other injured, after a single car crash at the intersection of 98th Ave. and Plymouth Street in Oakland.

One person was killed and at least one more seriously injured in a car crash in East Oakland Saturday morning, a police officer said.

The collision occurred around 11:20 a.m. near the intersection of 98th Avenue and Plymouth Street, a Oakland police said.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and at least one more was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, she said.
