A major intersection near Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara was closed until about 10:30 a.m. while police investigated a fatal crash that occurred early this morning, a police spokesman said.

Woman Killed in Crash Near Levi's Stadium Identified

A driver who died Wednesday when her Honda sedan collided with an SUV near Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara was identified as 54-year-old Yen Nguy, of San Jose, according to police.
A woman was killed and another injured in a crash that occurred at 4:49 a.m. at the intersection of Tasman Drive and Great America Parkway in Santa Clara near Levi's Stadium. At around 4:50 a.m., a driver was traveling west in a gray Honda on Tasman Drive and struck another driver, who was headed north in an SUV. The Honda driver, Yen Nguy of San Jose, was killed. The SUV driver, Marlen Sotelo, was brought to a hospital and later released.
