CHP: Caltrans truck and other vehicles collide in Santa Rosa

A Highway 12 collision Wednesday morning in Santa Rosa involved a Caltrans truck and as many as four other vehicles, according to the CHP. At least one person was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, although the extent of injuries wasn’t initially clear. Preliminary crash information indicated the 7:44 a.m. collision was in eastbound Highway 12 lanes at Dutton Avenue. Two lanes initially were blocked and traffic backed up to Stony Point Road. Both lanes reportedly were open by about 8:30 a.m.
