Pedestrian Fatally Struck By 2 Cars InSunnyvale

SUNNYVALE (CBS SF) – Two cars struck and killed a man in Sunnyvale early Friday morning, Department of Public Safety officials said. A preliminary investigation showed two cars struck the pedestrian and both drivers stayed at the scene where they cooperated with officers, according to public safety officials. The pedestrian was struck in an area with no crosswalks, according to public safety officials. It does not appear drugs or alcohol was a factor in the collision, public safety officials said. The roadway is expected to reopen around 10 a.m., public safety officials said.
