According to troopers, a truck was headed eastbound on Highway 50 when it lost control and flipped.
Neither the driver or passenger were wearing their seat belts. Both were thrown from the car.

The woman was pronounced dead at Parkview Medical Center. The 22-year-old driver of the vehicle, who is from Walsenburg, was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Both Parker and Atkinson were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle. Both were taken to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo for treatment, however Parker died at the hospital.
