At the time, Adela Marquez, 46, of Denver, was driving a Toyota Tacoma and Sarah King, 28, of Colorado Springs, was driving a Hyundai Azera. Both cars struck the man in the right lane.
A 23-year-old man was struck by two cars while walking across Interstate 25 near the South Academy exit, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The man crossed the southbound lanes of the highway and stepped in front of two vehicles, both of which hit him. It appears that the alcohol was a factor in the pedestrian's behavior.
