Child Falls From Apartment Window in Colorado Springs

Right now police are considering the incident an accident, and no charges are pending.
 
 
According to the Colorado Springs Police, a 2-year-old boy fell from a third story window at Newport Square Apartments Saturday morning. The complex is on the 3000 block of Rebecca Lane, off Academy Blvd., south of Austin Bluffs. The window in the boys room was open about 6 inches, his bed nearby, when he rolled over in his sleep and fell out the window. His fall was cushioned by a bush and the boy was taken to the hospital with a broken arm. The family was home at the time of the incident, that police are considering to be an accident. The investigation is still in progress.
